OCL is a consultant-led clinic that offers care in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of eye diseases. Our consultants are highly skilled in their specific branch of eye surgery and are highly skilled in performing laser eye surgery and lens-based vision correction, cataract surgery with premium lenses, glaucoma care, retina care, oculoplastics and non-surgical facial rejuvenation.

Each of our ophthalmic surgeons is recognised as a leading expert in their field. They all hold substantive NHS consultant positions and have been fellowship trained both within the UK and at international centres of excellence.

We know how important it is to ensure your patients receive the very best clinical care and this is why we choose to partner with associates in the community who are especially interested in ensuring continuity in care and achieving the best possible outcomes.

Having top-level clinical leadership combined with the latest state of the art technology allows us to achieve these outcomes. We are results-driven and analyse our patient outcome data at various time points. Therefore, we will ensure patients you refer to us for treatment are referred back to your clinic for their postoperative management at agreed time points.

We appreciate thorough assessments can be time-consuming, so we offer remuneration for the initial assessment in your clinic together with postoperative check-ups undertaken. To ensure our clinical standards are kept high, we also offer training to ensure you feel confident in undertaking these examinations.

Payment Options

Self-Pay Patients

For self-pay patients we accept all major debit and credit cards including AMEX (no additional fees) or BACS transfer.

Finance Options/Interest Free Credit

We offer 0% interest finance options making it easier to spread the cost of surgery over up to 24 months. A minimum 10% deposit is required and the balance is split over your chosen monthly period of either 6, 10, 12, 18 or 24 months at a rate of 0% APR.

Insured Patients

We are registered with all major insurance companies including BUPA, AXA PPP, Vitality, Cigna, Aviva, Allianz and aim to bill within the cover that insurance companies provide.

There are certain technologies we offer that insurance companies do not cover e.g. multifocal lenses and in these cases, there may be an excess to pay.

Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) £3,350 per eye
Laser Crosslinking £1,600 per eye
Corneal Transplantation £10,000 – £12,000 per eye*
Pterygium £2,900 per eye*
Glaucoma Treatments £3,000 – £4,500 per eye**
SLT Laser or Iridotomy Laser £650 one eye / £950 both eyes

Anesthetist, if required, are charged at £300 for unilateral cases or £500 for bilateral cases
